  5. Love these! Of course I’m a little partial to JRR Tolkien, but who isn’t these days? I have a whole board on Pinterest dedicated to travel quotes and it is by far my fullest board! My favorite quote is by Anthony Bourdain: "Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you, it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind."

  10. There are some wonderful travel quotes here from very inspiring people such as Oprah and the Dalai Lama. I’ve got to go with his quote of ‘Once a year go one place you’ve never been before’. I can relate to the anonymous quote too, ‘We travel not to escape like, but for life not to escape us’. I’m ready to go somewhere right now!

    1. Ah, "once a year go someplace you’ve never been before" is another personal favorite! Can’t believe I missed that one!
